The Gumbaynggirr nation of the Coffs area extends from as far north as Grafton (Clarence River) to the Nambucca River in the south then west to Armidale and eastward to the pacific coast, which makes the Gumbaynggirrr tribe one of the largest in NSW, with evidence indicating people have lived in the area for many thousands of years.

The circles represent the circles of life we move within. Initially we are connected in larger circles at birth but as we grow into adolescence we become individuals and loose our sense of dreaming and purpose. As we progress into adulthood we re-discover our connections to community, our spirit and our purpose. Each circle weaves into the structure of DNA which is our blueprint, our history, our biochemistry and bubbles of life.
The green colour is the colour of healing.
